JOB DESCRIPTION
As Billing Technician will be part of the Financial Department of Generix Group Portugal.

In this project, you will have, among others, the mission of monitoring payment defaults and being involved in their negotiation, as well as analyzing the financial situation of each client.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Negotiate and establish payment agreements with customers where necessary;
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, such as Sales and Client Support, to resolve issues related to billing;
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in current accounts, investigate and resolve possible problems related to invoices or payments;
  • Keep uptodate records of all interactions and communications with customers and keep the database updated on customer contacts;
  • Draw up recovery maps, monitor the status of payments and provide regular updates to superiors;
  • Execution of other administrative matters.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic Training: Graduate in Accounting, Finance or similar;
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar functions (desirable);
  • Previous experience in credit control and recovery (plus);
  • Dynamism and autonomy;
  • Good argumentation, persuasion, negotiation and organization skills;
  • Good analytical skills and customer orientation;
  • Fluency of French and English or fluency in Portuguese and Italian.
