"Swallow Decadent Brunch" located in Porto, Portugal, is expanding and currently in the process of developing a dinner service. We are looking for a dynamic, creative and passionate Chef consultant interested to help develop an on brand menu but also train our kitchen team.


Position Summary:

  • Menu development develop, design and create new dishes
  • Train staff on how to prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality/presentation, timing and brand standards.
  • Menu costing
  • Plan and run service during pop up events with kitchen team and front of house.
Who Are We Looking For ?

  • An individual truly passionate about local cuisine and inspired by international cuisine
  • 2+ years of cooking experience in a fastpaced environment
  • Degree from an accredited university/college in culinary art or hotel restaurant management is an asset
  • Prior work in Pastry is a plus
  • Proficient in English
  • Passionate about creating new dishes and using local seasonal ingredients
  • Provides services that are above and beyond customer satisfaction
  • Ideal start date Spring 2024 with the objective to launch dinner service by Summer 2024.
