Admin Location:
Lisbon Type of work: Hybrid Work Model (3x a week in the office in Lisbon)

Type of contract:

Direct Contractual link with the client Client: Leader company in providing information and knowledge about the business fabric, helping to inform its clients' business decisions.

Tasks Linux-based computer systems and servers within an organization. Installing and configuring Linux operating systems on servers and workstations.

Monitoring system performance, ensuring proper operation, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as updating software packages, applying security patches, and monitoring system logs for errors or anomalies.

Implementing security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. This may include configuring firewalls, implementing intrusion detection systems, and performing security audits. Troubleshooting system issues, diagnosing hardware and software problems, and providing technical support to end-users and other IT staff.

Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure system integrity and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.

Requirements Academic background, preferably in IT/Computing or Engineering; Minimum of 3 years' experience in Microsoft environments and Relational Database Administration, preferably SQL Server (configuration, administration and troubleshooting); Minimum 2 years' experience in Linux environments (Debian, CentOS, Redhat and Oracle Linux); Network administration in HP environments; Virtualization: VMware; Good to Have: Microsoft certifications are valued; Web servers: Apache and Nginx;

Applications Servers:
