About the Role

The role is responsible for managing tax within its specific field of expertise (direct or indirect tax) for all legal entities in the region/cluster.

Works closely with and provide support to the business and other relevant stakeholders on implications related to direct or indirect tax.

Identifies the impact of new developments and policy changes and deal with such and other relevant direct or indirect tax opportunities or risks.

What You Will Do

Responsible to prepare, validate and submit all tax reporting filings and requirements for the applicable entities within the region/cluster/country, incl. maintaining tax records and information
Manages tax payments and refunds, as well as manages and reconciles the tax account
Supports the tax business partner and other stakeholders with input and requested information/data, incl. participation in tax audits and relevant projects
First line of contact for questions related to tax sent via e.g. tickets or raised by AP and AR, or from Tax Authorities related to tax reporting, escalate to tax business partner if required
Carry out relevant tax trainings for e.g. AP and AR, in cooperation with the tax business partner
Carry out relevant KICs and secure relevant processes/instructions/guidelines/etc. are followed and give input in case of identified need for improvement
Involved in projects related to implementation of solutions to fulfil tax requirements in SAP and other relevant tools, as well as other projects where input and knowledge from the tax reporting team is needed

Who You Are

University graduate with tax qualification
3+ years of relevant experience within specialist tax area (direct tax or indirect tax)
Relevant experience working with SAP
Fluent in English & Polish
Working knowledge of the Polish Indirect tax system
Position in a multinational business environment is a plus
Capacity to influence
Can work as a team player with peers
