- Defining regulations and providing guidance to executives and associates.
- Overseeing the implementation of regulations and supporting strategic projects globally.
- Monitoring international developments in laws, requirements, and standards related to data protection.
- Supervising international data protection issues, including developing specifications and advising on procedures and processes.
- Establishing a centrally-driven governance strategy by aligning upcoming data protection legal requirements worldwide.
- Aligning new requirements with existing Bosch data protection and information security management systems.
- Collaborating with associations and authorities to evaluate new law proposals and clarify their implementation within the organization.
- Working closely with stakeholders, including managing directors, central departments, and experts from central and regional organizational units.
- Education: Completed university degree (Master) in law, business law, or a comparable focus on data protection.
- Experience: Several years of experience and competence in data protection, preferably in an international law firm or company. Experience with international audit standards (, ISO and methods is desirable, along with work experience in international teams.
- Knowledge: Very good knowledge of European data protection law and familiarity with other local data protection laws.
- Personality: Strong leadership skills, assertive, convincing, diplomatic, communicative, and team-oriented.
- Working Practice: Structured, systematic, and consistent.
- Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English and German; proficiency in an additional language is desirable.
