About the Company
Motion Robotics is not a conventional "run of the mill" engineering company. We are not building "me too" machinery.

We value innovation and product quality and are working to build ourselves into a major player in this exciting and rapidly expanding industry sector of robotic material handling machinery.

All new product development is done here through our Portugal facility while volume manufacturing will be out of both the Portugal and US manufacturing facilities.

If you join Motion Robotics it will be at exciting time with an expected upcoming period of rapid expansion.

With a number of new product launches on the horizon - mostly for Motion Robotics but also for PowerHandling, we will provide some exceptional opportunities for future career advancement.

Objectives & Responsibilities of this role
Responsibility for all departments including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting & Administration. (Depending on the department, senior leads or managers will be responsible for each department).

Will be jointly responsible for New Product Development, working in collaboration with the company owner who will lead NPD projects.
Tasked with the streamlining of existing teams, establishing highly motivational work environments and improving overall performance.
Work with HR to recruit, onboard and train highperforming employees to achieve company objectives.
Oversee daytoday operations, assign weekly performance goals and manage their completion.
Establish and maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.

Skills / Qualifications

English competency essential
Functional Portuguese an advantage but not mandatory.
A Bachelor's degree plus prior work experience in some branch of engineering or computer science.
Either formal education or field experience in automation/robotics highly preferred.
Experience in business management role(s) related to engineering or manufacturing with prior experience in industrial machinery.
And has:
Proven success in a managerial role
Strong decisionmaking ability
Strong Emotional Intelligence
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skill
Able to lead by example with strong individual contributor capabilities.
Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence demonstrated ability to lead

and motivate employees and get positive results.

Prior international work experience a significant advantage.
