What You Can Expect:

Our client is an Iberian group of logistics and distribution companies is positioned as market leaders in their respective areas of operation. The main focus of the role will be executing new technological projects, such as network asset upgrades, enhancing asset and resource monitoring and alarming, server dematerialization, and supporting digital transformation projects and software applications.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading technical projects for infrastructure improvement or expansion.
• Managing relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Organizing and updating documentation related to assets, security, and infrastructures.
• Supervising and maintaining on-premises and cloud IT infrastructures with a high level of autonomy.
• Executing new technological projects, including network asset upgrades, enhanced monitoring, server dematerialization, and support for digital transformation projects.

What You Will Bring:

• A degree in computer engineering or a related field.
• Experience in systems/administration infrastructure.
• Critical thinking skills to challenge the status quo and propose solutions.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, NAT, DNS, VPN, etc.
• Scripting and/or programming knowledge.
• Experience in administering Microsoft Windows Server systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Backup & Recovery, Exchange Server, MSSQL Server; IIS.
• Office365 administration experience.
• Additional knowledge in programming languages, JIRA, Spanish, SQL, Linux systems administration, network/server/process monitoring tools, public clouds (especially Azure), and performance tuning is also valued.
• Strong communication, teamwork, initiative, dynamism, and proactivity.
• Ability to design technical solutions at the networking/hosting/automation level.
• Proficiency in English.
