THE ROLE


As
Commercial Planning & Trading Specialist, in our Revenue Management department, your role would span across analyzing the market, competition and data insights to maximize revenue through effectively managing our fleet allocation, pricing, ancillaries and leakage, for the
UK,
Ireland and
Nordics markets.

Reporting directly to the Pricing and Stock Managers, this role gives you a fantastic exposure to Commercial Strategy and you will work in a dynamic, young, talented and highly motivated team.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Use every available lever, such as Pricing and Stock Management to Maximize Revenue. Opportunities are everywhere
  • Planning & Control over region overall revenue performance (ancillaries, rental revenue, etc.).
  • Analyze revenue performance, market trends and track competitor behavior to develop RM strategies.
  • Liaise with Pricing, Stock Management, and eCommerce capabilities to communicate your markets performance and sources for improvement.
  • Look into the data to discover and unleash revenue opportunities.
  • Develop tools, models, and reports to support your decisions (evidence before opinions).
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product & Technology to maximize revenue impact.
  • Communicate Inform, challenge, and influence the Leadership Team on Revenue questions. If you have good ideas, we will listen

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor or Master in a quantitative or scientific degree (Business, Math, Physics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in revenue management.
  • Professional experience in Airlines, Retail, Travel & Tourism, or Rentacar.
  • Business oriented You know how to spot revenue opportunities.
  • Can do attitude. Autonomous, proactive, team oriented, tech savvy and results driven.
  • Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines on complex and unstructured problems
  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Spreadsheets and Microsoft Powerpoint / Google Slides.
  • Experience with data analytics/visualization tools is a plus (Eg: Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge with programming languages such as SQL, Python or Javascript is a plus.
