    Senior Specialist Project CoordinationCommon accountabilities:

    • Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
    • Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
    • Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.

    Specific accountabilities:

    • Management of the Airport Hardware stock :

    Regular discussion with head of regional Airport Delivery Manager to get input on the stock forecast for post implementation needs.

    Clarification and documentation of the stock management processesProcurement of Hardware stock based on ForecastFollow up and reporting on Hardware stock usageEnsure inventory accuracyMonitoring stock levelShipment of stock to end CustomerCoordination with Airport Delivery Managers- Coordinate Hardware quote requests for new opportunities and clarify logistics constraints:

    In charge of getting all Hardware and freight costs for new opportunities from Airport vendorsCoordination with AAO vendor managers and Solution Design TeamClarification of logistics constraints (Customs clearance documentation, usage of local vendors, taxes.)
    Provide inputs to Manager for Solution Review Meeting- Management of the purchasing activities for projects, understanding and managing the delivery constraints (time, logistics, cost), raising requisitions to 3rd parties and following-up on the procurement and logistics until the goods are received:

    Ordering of hardware, software and services in-line with customers' requirements and Amadeus' contractual commitments Seemless delivery of hardware to the required destinations in-line with the project planInternal purchasing processes followed upClear, precise and timely communication with the internal and external project stakeholders regarding progress of the orders and deliveriesPayment of vendor invoices within the contracted timeframesTransfer of ownership of hardware warranties to the customer- Entry point for Accounts Payable regarding invoice queries about project-related purchases, investigate anomalies related to VAT and other invoice dimensions as needed, manage communications with and advisories to the vendors and address disputes if required:

    • Timely & accurate payment of invoicesfollowing an efficient and well-understood process
    • Healthy relationship with vendors
    • Continuously identify, propose and implement improvements in the processes, procedures and tools of Airport procurement lifecycle:
    Increased maturity of the Airport procurement activity through:Definition and improvement of Airport procurement processes Identification of new procurement tools and enhancement of existing toolsensure compliance with Corporate purchasing internal policiesEducation:
    Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Supply management

    Relevant Work experience:


    Minimum 5 years experience in a business environment working on procurement and logistics-related activities, preferably in the telecommunications and/or aviation industry.


    Business Understanding:
    Ability to understand high-level solution and impact of improvement projects, new / changed processes and new / changed tools
    Ability to understand inter-dependencies between different areas of the business
    Ability to understand and analyze legal terms and conditions, and to extract essential information from contractual documents.
    Experience discussing finances, budgets and costs

    Skills:
    Excel, Word, PowerPoint, COUPA is a plus
    Fluent English
    Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills. Very good analytical skills.
