- Develop and implement strategy and roadmap for the Maintenance commodity
- Drive and coordinate cross-functional projects within Maintenance
- Global lead on annual negotiations, optimizing the supply base and supply chain
- Build a close relationship with key suppliers in the commodity, focusing on long-term value delivery through supplier account management and partnerships
- Take full responsibility to facilitate and coordinate Maintenance E2E optimization projects
- Work closely with the matrix regional organization on strategy execution
- 5+ years of experience with strategic procurement
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- Experience with handling large yearly procurement budgets
- Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
- Experience in the wind industry is advantageous.
- Fluency in English
- You will have an open approach to encourage stakeholder input and a structured, fact-based approach to ensure ideas are prioritized and implemented

We are looking for a Global Category Lead to join our Global Service Procurement team. As a Global Category Lead you will be an integral part of our growing global procurement team, overseeing the acquisition of external resources and labor hire for Vestas' Service business worldwide. We pride ourselves on treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed, and motivated at all times. You will be reporting to the Director of Service Solutions Procurement in Vestas, located in Aarhus, Denmark.
