Job Description

The Senior IT Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud and data strategies. This role requires an individual who is not only deeply technical but also possesses a strategic mindset to integrate Azure solutions seamlessly into our business operations.

Lead the administration and optimization of our Azure cloud environment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
Manage and configure Intune for mobile device and application management, aligning with our security and compliance requirements
Solution Architecture competency
Manage and configure Intune for mobile device and application management, aligning with our security and compliance requirements.
Design and implement data architectures that support scalability, reliability, and performance across our enterprise.
Develop, deploy, and manage Azure data warehousing solutions, leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, to support advanced analytics initiatives.
Administer SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and security.
Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
Conduct regular audits and performance tuning of Azure services and SQL Server databases to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services, data warehousing technologies, and analytics trends to continually enhance our capabilities.
Develop comprehensive documentation and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistent application of Azure and data solutions across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on Azure cloud services, data architecture, and analytics.
Extensive experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Active Directory, Intune, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other related services.
Proficient in designing and implementing complex data architectures and data warehousing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and security.
Strong understanding of best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities, capable of leading projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications in Azure, data architecture, or SQL Server are highly desirable.
