We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Technology Team, focused on providing cutting - edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in Portugal and EMEIA Region.


What you can contribute - skills fand attributes or shaping the future

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in German for both technical and business audiences.
  • Fluent English is a prerequisite. Knowledge of additional languages will be appreciated.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries.
  • Ability/flexibility to travel.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor or a masters degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
  • Minimum of 25 years of working experience with preferably at least 2 years in a healthcare context and particular focus on data modeling and management, integration and manipulation of large disparate datasets (i.e. structured, semistructured or unstructured)
  • Experience in working with healthcare specific data and language formats such as HL7 / FHIR, xDT, openEHR, OMOP, SNOMED
  • Proven practical experience in database and/or data warehouse design and data modelling. Expert knowledge in using database query languages e.g. SQL, AQL. Strong skills in statistical packages for data manipulation and in development of predictive and prescriptive models (i.e. R, Python, SAS, SPSS). Experience in machine learning and AI projects as well as strong working knowledge on the mechanics of the underlying Machine Learning algorithms
  • Experience in Advanced Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, PowerBI and others for integration between disparate data sources, design and implementation of KPIs and generation of automatic and scalable visualizations that will facilitate extraction of business insights.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience in machine learning and AI projects as well as strong working knowledge on the mechanics of the underlying Machine Learning algorithms
  • Strong experience working with cloud platforms, e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc. and the various BI tools the cloud platforms offer
  • Experience in data management projects with a focus on defining and implementing processes, organization and roles for effective Data Governance and Data Management
  • Experience in structuring and overseeing program design, development, testing and debugging activities.
