What role will you play?
Site Installation Project Manager.

Manages projects with responsibility for successful execution:

  • Executes the project within the defined requirements (e.g. budget, time, functionality).
  • Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer and ensures professional stakeholder management.
  • Ensures timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.

In the context of Engineering:

  • At site, is responsible for the implementation of costumer specific solutions.
  • At site, coordinates the installation personnel, service providers and suppliers.
  • At site, clarifies technical issues with Engineering Project Manager and also with customers.
  • At site, performs the redlining of the documentation according to the as built implementation.
  • Ensuring that the development of projects under your responsibility is carried out efficiently, meeting the technical requirements and deadlines agreed with customers, as well as optimizing the economic indicators associated with them, namely control of invoicing, compliance with margins, avoid non conformance costs and focus on claim management, always guaranteeing the quality of the final product supplied.
  • Designating, planning and coordinating with the project manager the tasks of the resources involved in the development of the projects for which they are responsible, as well as optimizing their levels of productivity and efficiency, motivation and team spirit.
  • Ensuring the necessary conditions for the execution of the tasks of the engineering and commissioning team on site, e.g. guaranteeing in time all supplies and technical information, timely project meetings, HST local coordination, guaranteeing from the customers that all the conditions for site acceptance tests are assured etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with Siemens S.A. policies, and the SI sector, regarding Compliance processes, as well as Quality, Environment and Safety Management related to this business area;
  • Ensure the levels of performance, functionality and quality of the solutions provided, as well as customer satisfaction at all stages of the supply chain.
  • After completion of the project, ensure its support to the person responsible for aftersales services where there are maintenance contracts, and long associated warranty periods.

We are looking for:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a major in Energy;
  • Good level of English;
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing substation automation projects preferably;
  • Motivation to learn;
  • Good communication and customer orientation;
  • Dynamism and creativity;
  • Full availability to permanent establishement in Sines or nearby;
  • Good ability to work in a team;
