We want to position ourselves directly with the client, whether that's in a dinning room, food truck, open kitchen pick-up spot, abandoned cork factory or the international space station

Job description


The Foodriders "
Host" will mainly workin our Penha da Franca "Open Kitchen Pick Up" with occasional service duties at Pop Ups and events.

Our "Host" is the first (and last point) of contact and guide our clients through their foodriders experience. Our hosts are friendly and warm, yet professional and exacting.

We are looking for well-presented, engaging individuals who will be excited to provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service while upholding Foodriders standards and values.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and guide guest's complete pick up experience
  • Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times
  • Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items including the major components of a dish/drink; this may include ingredients and their source, simple descriptions of unfamiliar ingredients, preparation, and/or execution of correct food and beverage service
  • Adhere to all company service standards and protocols
  • Confident and correct use of proprietary POS and Logistics system for order entry and payment processing
  • Assist in setting up the pick up for service, and breaking down at the end of the shift
  • Ensure food and beverage arrive to clients quickly and correctly
  • Communicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary
  • Communicate by phone to clients when delays happen
  • Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all clients before, during, and after service
  • Engage management for any guest issue or complaint
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of service tools and service areas
  • Follow mandated safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Stocking and preparing service related items
Conditions
€ Liquid after taxes

  • 5 day per week
  • 7 hours per day
  • Contract without term limits
