- Design and implement scalable and robust event-driven applications using Java SpringBoot.
- Develop high-quality code, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
- Integrate third-party services and components into the application ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in new and existing applications.
- Be part of the software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, maintenance and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in event-driven architecture.
- A degree or education in computer science and/or comparable professional experience in the field of Backend Development
- Experience with Java and Java frameworks like SpringBoot (at least 3 years).
- Experience with event-driven architecture and technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS or similar)
- Proficient in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and designing database schemas
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with RESTful API development and consumption
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Android development experience is a plus
- Proven ability to understand the big picture and quickly comprehend complex relationships in dynamic organizations
- Enthusiasm for acting as team player, especially when it comes to cross functional teams paired with passion to work independently, assuming holistic responsibility for a project when needed
- English is no hurdle for you (at least B2-level required)
