SilverBack Staffing Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Commissioning Technician to join our client's inclusive and collaborative team.

The position instrumentation commissioning role is based in Skelleftea, Sweden and comes with a favourable rate.

As a dedicated Instrumentation Commissioning Technician, you will work as part of the commissioning team on instrumentation and control systems for the start-up commissioning and hand-over of a world-class industrial project.

The project is in Sweden and will require the right individual to be on-site in the coming weeks.
In your first few weeks in this Instrumentation Commissioning Technician role, you can expect to:

• Control and instrument system inspection and punch listing before acceptance from construction
• Control panels, instruments and cable installation checks and testing
• Pressure test of impulse tubing, flushing of remotecontrol valves, hydraulic tubing, etc.
• Full energised loop checks from the input device to the output device
• Working with a team member in the control room to test signals

Requirements:

You must have the right to work in the EU and/or the right to work in Sweden to apply.

The project is a large manufacturing facility, so a background in working on and delivering the construction of large industrial manufacturing facilities is favourable.

The successful Instrumentation Commissioning Technician will also need:

• Experience working in and executing large-scale projects and a minimum of 4 years of testing and commissioning experience
• General technical/engineering trade skills, knowledge of good engineering practices in instrumentation and measurement, and use of standard tools and test equipment
• Familiarity with European safety practices, PTW systems, toolbox briefs, etc
• Familiarity with the concept of Commissioning Systems and the working on Handover Documents
