Procurement Specialist - Supplier Enablement:


The Procurement Specialist - Supplier Enablement is part of the Procurement Operations group inside the PagerDuty P2P Team and responsible for Supplier Enablement activities.

The Procurement Specialist - Supplier Enablement will ensure the timely and accurate review and processing of supplier onboarding and maintenance requests in our Coupa Platform and especially in the Coupa Supplier Portal, and the education of internal stakeholders and suppliers on the benefits and requirements of the tool-enabled supplier onboarding and management process.

The Procurement Specialist - Supplier Enablement role is that of an individual contributor on the P2P Team and reports to the Head of Procurement.


How You Impact Our Vision

  • Utilize the Coupa Business Spend Management Platform and the Coupa Supplier Portal
  • Successfully, timely, and accurately review and process supplier onboarding and maintenance requests
  • Educate internal stakeholders and suppliers on the benefits and requirements of the toolenabled supplier management process
  • Provide training, guidance, and assistance to suppliers as needed, answering their questions and helping them embrace the change
  • Manage onetoone onboarding contacts, ensuring that all suppliers are onboarded in a timely manner and receive the necessary support throughout the process
  • Ensure all needed information is received and submitted in Coupa to facilitate the invoicing process and minimize delays
  • Initiate reviews by InfoSec, Legal, etc., when certain conditions are met
  • Coordinate with Legal, Business Stakeholders and suppliers on supplier Agreements (mostly NDA) to reduce risk and liability for new and recurring supplier relationships
  • Track and align with Procurement KPIs to provide business value
  • Improve Supplier Enablement by identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Assist with supplier quarterly business reviews and various Procurement related projects
  • Increase the number of suppliers actively using the portal
  • Increase the number of suppliers with uptodate data
  • Increase the percentage of invoices submitted through the portal

About You

  • Handson experience processing supplier onboarding and maintenance requests
  • Thriving in a fastpaced and everchanging environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues at the right time
  • Strong team orientation and organizational acumen
  • Communication, presentation, customer service, active listening and writing skills
  • Strong communications skills, ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internally, ability to articulate ideas clearly, to actively listen and to respond appropriately
  • Attention to detail to manage a lot of data and documentation
  • Ability to analyze supplier data and provide insights that can help improve the supplier onboarding and management processes

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of previous work experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement
  • 2+ years experience with Supplier Portals and Business Spend Management
  • 2+ years experience with supplier enablement/management
  • Previous demonstrated experience working successfully crossfunctionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software proficiencies: Coupa, G-Suite, Tableau
  • Understanding of the Source to Settlement Process
  • Experience with tracking and reporting KPIs
