The opportunity


EY is looking for a Data Architecture Senior Consultant to helps us grow our Financial Services - Technology Consulting team.

Overall, this person should help organizations to assess the maturity of their current data governance practices and shape their future data management landscapes.


Your key responsibilities

  • Proficient in Data Governance projects and coordinate team activities.
  • Design and implement a data governance model.
  • Interpret the strategic objectives of an organization and transform them into objectives associated with data strategy and management.
  • Define and implement a business glossary.
  • Define and implement policies, processes and procedures related to data management and governance.
  • Manage and communicate with the client and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops with the client.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Academic education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Management, Engineering or similar;
  • Experience (minimum of 2 full years) in the definition and implementation of data governance models;
  • Knowledge of Data Management topics and the main technologies associated;
  • Knowledge on DAMA framework;
  • Knowledge in SQL and ETL.
  • Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
- +5 years of professional experience in technology projects, mainly in consulting environment;

  • Full English Proficiency is mandatory.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience in Data Warehouse & Analytics projects such as designing data models and mapping data flows;
  • Experience in design and implement Dashboards;
  • Knowledge and/or experience in data governance tools like Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra and others is a plus;
  • Knowledge in two or more of the following Data technologies is a plus: (NoSQL; Python; Snowflake; Spark Streaming; Kafka; Cosmos DB; Mongo DB; Elasticsearch; Experience in Agile.)
