We are looking for an IT/Solution Architect to join our Technology Team, focused on providing cutting - edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in Portugal and EMEIA Region.

What you can contribute - skills fand attributes or shaping the future

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in German for both technical and business audiences.
Fluent English is a prerequisite. Knowledge of additional languages will be appreciated.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries.
Ability/flexibility to travel.

To qualify for the role you must have

Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor or a masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or other related field with strong IT focus.
Minimum of 25 years of working experience with preferably at least 2 years in a healthcare context and particular focus on designing and implementing major/large solution architectures in on premise and/or cloud platform environments (e.g. MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience in designing integration architectures and ensuring interoperability between the various participants in healthcare system landscapes. Expert knowledge in working with healthcare specific data formats such as HL7 / FHIR, OMOP, xDT or openEHR

- and security architectures and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, etc.

Proven experience in designing and implementing technical solutions on cloud architectures preferably using MS Azure Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities

- the ability to communicate and reinforce solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of (business) stakeholders effectively and comprehensibly

Ideally, you'll also have

Strong experience working with other cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud etc.
Good understanding of Software development projects
Knowledge of Project delivery and Project Management methodologies as used in large integrated environments
Waterfall and Agile
Architecture certifications such as MS Azure Cloud Architect, TOGAF or other related.
