Overview of Role

  • As we kickstart our rapid growth in Porto, we are looking for Financial Services Team Lead/Delivery Managers to join and lead our growing client delivery teams.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with global Tier 1 Investment Banks delivering managed services and projects across a range of functions including KYC, Risk, Compliance and Legal.

As a senior leader you will liaise and partner with senior client stakeholders and have overall responsibility for client delivery.

You will build and manage large-scale high performing teams (typically 20 to 200+) and be a champion of FinTrU culture across the company.

The role is suited to someone with experience within a fast-paced banking environment, with a proven track record of leading, managing and develop high-performing teams with strong stakeholder management and relationship building abilities.


Job Details

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop highperforming teams, ensuring the team have the skills and the tools for continuous development.
  • Ensure communication within the team and with the client, guaranteeing fluidity of communication and alignment.
  • Effectively engage and manage a wide range of global stakeholders at all levels, within the client and FinTrU.
  • Plan and coordinate projects and managed services, ensuring they are delivered to scope, on time and to quality.
  • Contribute to internal management tasks, such as team reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, management reports etc.

Required Experience, Skills and Attributes
-
Up to 6 years' proven banking experience of leading operations and teams within managed services or project delivery environment.

  • Solid understanding of operations management lifecycles and methods.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to manage and coordinate various governance forums across diverse stakeholders.
  • Confident and assertive communicator, able to sell ideas, negotiate solutions and influence to ensure adoption of new methods.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment, with a willingness to work flexibly to achieve project objectives.
  • Ability to set a vision and to lead and motivate a team across various grades.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to identify and close new business opportunities and to build and expand the project team as appropriate.
  • Be a key advocate of and contributor to FinTrU culture.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
