Joom is an international group of eCommerce and fintech companies founded in 2016 in Latvia.

Joom currently includes the following businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for shopping from all over the world; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; Joompay, a fintech service for daily financial transactions in Europe; Joom Logistics, a business that provides logistics, technology and infrastructure services for cross-border eCommerce; JoomPro, a platform for cross-border wholesale trade.

Joom offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong-Kong, the USA, Germany, Luxembourg, and Portugal.

Joom has launched a new research project for external publications. The project's goal is to attract B2B-clients and partners through publishing easy-to-read and engaging content. We are looking for a full-time trend watcher with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Analyze trends in eCommerce using existing data (statistics, reports, etc.)
Identify topics that can possibly be of interest to B2Bclients and partners
Conduct research independently and meet deadlines
Choose the right methodology and methods for research (desk, survey, interviews, etc.)
Organize the flow of a systematic content generation
Find relevant contractors (agencies and freelancers), supervise them, take full responsibility for the quality and final result
Prepare highquality texts for reports in English, make sure the texts, data and calculations are errorfree and well presented
Initiate new projects, optimize the current workflow
Work independently and within a crossfunctional team

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in trend watching, market research, or other relevant field
Experience in conducting desk research using various frameworks
Detailoriented, openminded and stressresistant
Fluent English
Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics
Structural approach to project organization

Preferred

Knowledge of other European and Asian languages
Knowledge of financial analysis of markets and competitors
Knowledge of trendwatching frameworks and experience with them
