Reporting to the Communication Director, the following roles will play a key role in delivering Avincis' communications strategy:

COPYWRITER

• Creating impactful / engaging copy that brings the business narrative to life for internal and external audiences.
• Instrumental in landing our tone of voice throughout the business, via internal and external channels.
• Writing content for key brand assets which may be templated for local and functional teams to take and use as a baseline for brand updates.
• Collaborating with the multimedia designer to ensure content and copy is consistent with our visual identity.
• Writing, editing and amending communications on key brand assets (newsletters, website, press releases, social media etc), as directed by briefs.
• Ensuring key messaging is woven into all communications and brand assets.
• Proofreading and editing copy the role will be pivotal in reviewing key brand assets to guarantee tonal consistency.
• Creating a style guide that will be used across the comms team and more widely to ensure consistency of style and language.
• Collaborating with comms colleagues within the business, building a community to drive copy excellence.
• Experienced in delivering copy in a variety of styles and tone of voice for a broad spectrum of communications channels and platforms (website, intranet, social media, newsletters, speeches etc)
• Comfortable following brand and style guidelines in line with the company communications framework.
• Able to share a portfolio of work that shows the breadth of their writing capability and experience
• A qualified communications practitioner (Bachelor's degree, or other recognised industry qualification, in communications / journalism or English preferred) with experience working either inhouse or as a freelance writer.
