- Work with Senior Stakeholders across BCA Europe to identify new automation opportunities, including where process change would increase automation potential and define RPA value proposition
- Lead role in the creation of Business Design Document (BDD) & Process Streamline
- Assist with process standardisation throughout the RPA Lifecycle to ensure consistent quality and increased efficiency
- Develop Robots and implement RPA solutions across all BCA Europe Functions
- Work closely with RPA Business Analyst & CAG RPA CoE to ensure that the Robots are efficient and of high quality
- Collaborate closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) 'during' and 'post' development stage
- Provide advice and guidance on RPA best practice and development techniques to the Business
- Integrate complex RPA add-ons into Automations (i.e., Application Programming Interface (API), Optical character Recognition (OCR) and other Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) tools and Features that may complement RPA etc.)
- Participate in areas of less RPA related development (i.e., APIs, Azure Devops etc.)
- Use Task Management Software such as '' to keep track of tasks and timelines when working through the RPA Lifecycle
- Log and address any Issues and Risks relating to development and escalate in a timely manner to ensure Automations are delivered on time, every time
- Lead role in completing Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) alongside the business teams and SME's, fixing any bugs to ensure the Automation meets the business requirements and is ready for deployment.
- Debug any defects or issues that may arise during development (incl. Junior RPA Developer's debugs)
- Create and maintain documentation (Technical Design Documents) for RPA solutions
- Support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) & Project Managers (PMs) with automation roll out plans
- Support all Business & I.T. stakeholders with troubleshooting in regards of technical issues
- Maintain & redesign solutions of existing Robots
- Support the Cross-functional Teams (i.e., Engineering, Architecture etc.) to perform Robot / Orchestrator Upgrades and changes into the production environment
- 3+ years of experience in a high volume, fast paced I.T. environment
- 2+ years of programming experience using UiPath, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere RPA Software

BCA Europe is looking seeking to appoint a new Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to join a well-established, Constellation Automotive Group (CAG) RPA Centre of Excellence (CoE) target-driven team. The RPA CoE delivers automation solutions across CAG, supporting the Group's vision for digital transformation and operational excellence.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a technically skilled individual to lead on scaling and accelerating RPA for BCA Europe. This key role will lead in the design, deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure that underpins our automation capabilities linked to the development and support of New and existing Automations across BCA Europe. The role is a Hybrid role with occasional travel across Europe. Flexible working is available. The RPA CoE offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, with opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
Purpose of Role:
Supported by the CAG RPA CoE, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of RPA processes across BCA Europe. Work closely with the rest of the CAG RPA CoE team to ensure that the work delivered is fit for purpose and will satisfy the Business requirements. As an internal 'client-facing' role, the role requires excellent communication skills to facilitate the exchange of technical ideas with non-technical stakeholders in order to design a fit for purpose solution.
