- Manage and lead the project team to realize the project Quality Delivery Cost (QDC) objectives (estimate, plan and track the project development activities).
- Take ownership of customer and project issues and work closely with the team for resolution.
- Provide an avenue to collaborate with other teams (local and international) when necessary.
- Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks proactively.
- Develop and utilize project timelines for tasks, ensuring target dates are met for multiple projects.
- Provide necessary documentation for each project milestone release and ensure timely communication of project status to all stakeholders.
- Support RFI/RFQ activities by offering work breakdown, manpower planning, and development schedules.
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a project manager or in similar roles within the automotive industry.
- Strong experience in managing automotive-related projects is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, and schedules.
- Proficiency in product development processes and quality assurance.
- Good knowledge of IATF16949 standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of German being advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills enabling adaptation to diverse contacts locally and internationally.
- Cultural openness and adaptability for a flexible work environment.
