We are looking for a Product Sales Manager for our Fabrics Filtration Technology Unit to Ovar Portugal, Cernay France, or Como Italy office.

Fabrics Filtration Technology Unit supplies filter fabrics and filtration expertise to our global customers in mining & chemical, pulp & paper industry, together with dry filtration products in various industries.

As a product sales manager you will be responsible for driving the sales of the entire portfolio on North and West African markets.

You will work in close and active co-operation with our customers and partners. You will drive sales and sales strategy in assigned geographical area. You are motivated in further developing our sales and operations processes, together with global organization.

What you will do at Valmet?

  • Responsibility of sales of Filtration products in North and West African Area
  • Responsibility of Budget and Profitability in assigned area
  • Provide technocommercial support for customers in the AREA
  • Develop and maintain business plan for the AREA in accordance with Global business plan
  • Analyze and develop possibilities to enter new market areas to increase Filtration sales
  • Manage the customer accounts in assigned area
  • Build up and maintain sales funnel in the AREA. Actively update sales forecast to CRM tools
  • Provide monthly forecast for Production Planning
  • Provide feedback of competitor behavior and market trends to Valmet organization
  • Actively travel to meet customers
  • Define and action to develop channel to market (direct, channel partner, OEM) in the AREA
  • Close cooperation with Valmet internal stakeholders to ensure AREA requirements will be considered
  • Identifies and solves customer claims
  • Represents Valmet in exhibitions and trade fares
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties/projects if needed
Who is the professional we are looking for?


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equal
  • At least 5 years' of international sales experience which out minimum 3 years in North and West African markets
  • Experience in working both directly with end users and thirdparty channels
  • Experience both in sales channel development and service sales
  • Experience of filters and filtration is considered as an advantage
  • Previous knowledge of mining and energy industry is considered as advantage
  • Selfmotivated and ability to operate independently in the assigned region
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively in the North and West Africa and occasionally to Europe
  • French and Arabic language is an asset
