Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Permanent position, full-time - Cologne Your tasks

• Administration and maintenance of network components in schools andfor business customers
• Supporting serviceproviders with the commissioning of network components
• Analyzing, diagnosing and determining reported faultsand rectifying them on site or remotely
• Collaboration in projects within the network division and acrossdivisions
• The development and optimizationof network environments
• Further developmentof the network concept for operation in schools and for businesscustomers

Your profile

• You have successfully completedan apprenticeship in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for systemintegration) or a degree in computer science or have gainedcomparable experience as a career changer (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you have manufacturer certifications from Cisco(CCNA), Aruba (AMF) or Fortinet (NSE4)
• Youwork just as well independently as in a team and aresolution-oriented
• A strong customer andservice orientation, as well as a structured and meticulousapproach to work
• way of working characterizeyou
• You have a class B driving license
• Fluent written and spoken German is aprerequisite - other languages are welcome

Your experience

(Sound)knowledge in the following areas is desirable:

• Knowledge of network technology,especially in the areas of routing, switching and VPN
• The operation of LAN components in heterogeneousenvironments
• Ideally you have experience inthe planning and implementation of network concepts
• Knowledge of the manufacturers Extreme Networks, HPAruba as well as Huawei and Fortinet is also desirable
