Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Identify potential new customers in cooperation with Sales and Marketing
  • Active lead followup
  • Turn leads into business
  • Provide Service & Support to small existing customers to develop them to stable growing customers
  • Drive actions to identify net new customers
  • Create Profiles for potential new customers and "screen" their needs and competencies
  • Listening to the customer requirements and turn the needs into real business
  • Proactive and regular calling of new and existing customers to ensure they stay connected to TE.
  • Ability to explain and sell to the customer TE products including mating and related parts to ensure to sell complete solutions to customers
  • Know and understand TE products and product search engines incl. OEM restrictions to offer the right general parts to the customer
  • Support customer to login and use TE's E-Commerce Solutions (incl. Self-Service and samples)
  • Support business development activities of defined customers in cooperation with Sales
  • Account ownership
  • Understand business needs of customer and offer synergetic products to them
  • Coordination and work closely with Customer Service support all the customer needs, such as deliveries, SA, Orders, RFQ.
  • Active Quote and Sample followup
  • Creation of reports
  • Creation and maintenance of Customer Profile & Customer Master data
  • Daily KPI followup
  • Participation in daily PIM meetings to ensure full accountability and discussion about critical topics
  • Regular Meetings with Sales & Product Mgmt for information exchange and initiation of improvement actions
  • Internal communication with various departments like Sales, Service & Support, PIC, PM, etc.
  • Active participation in settingup new processes incl. continuous reviews and improvements.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor in Electronics / vehicle technology / Engineering or other technical stream;
  • 35 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service or field sales preferably in Automotive industry;
  • Advanced technical knowledge;
  • Mentality of "Customer First" ;
  • Ability to explain products and functions verbally.
  • Fluent in English
