As an IT Dispatch Specialist at Sourcechain Solutions, you will be responsible for providing first-level contact and conveying resolutions to customer issues.

You will be dispatching the appropriate IT service specialist for further troubleshooting and support. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various IT-related issues.

Tasks


1.


Dispatching and Coordination:
Efficiently assign and dispatch IT service requests to appropriate specialists. Monitor resource schedules to ensure prompt time entry on service requests.

Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for all service requests and incidents. Provide timely updates to customers and ensure proper record-keeping of all activities.

Incident Management:

Evaluate the nature of reported IT service requests and prioritize them based on severity, urgency, and impact on the business.

Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of all dispatch activities, including service requests, incident resolution, and customer communication.


5.


Collaboration:

Work closely with the IT team to understand the progress of dispatched tasks and communicate any delays or issues to the customer promptly.

6.


Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to improving client support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints.


Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in a dispatch or similar customer support role.
• Excellent understanding of IT services and products.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
