Our client is a well-known multinational French company that provides information systems and services to aerospace, defense and security industries.


To reinforce their team in Lisbon, we are currently recruiting an
Assistant Team Leader - Accounts payable(M/F) fluent in English and Portuguese.


Key Responsabilities:


  • Processing 3rd party and / or Intercompany invoices within strict deadlines across several companies within the group;
  • Checking and validation of invoices, matching to Purchase Orders, coordinating invoice approval and coding of charges to appropriate nominal ledgers;
  • Capture of invoices within the AP system(s);
  • Maintain prepayments and debit balances at an acceptable level;
  • Process Staff Expenses claims and carry out compliance checks;
  • To comply with the month end closing ensuring the deadlines and the outputs that have to be provided to the customers;
  • To be a team expert in the team;
  • To help developing the team by sharing knowledge and expertise;
  • Adhoc tasks as requested.

Requirements:


  • Good team player flexible and adaptable to multitasks;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Ability to work on own initiative;
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Able to work in a multicultural work environment;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
  • Experience of working for a large and complex organisation
  • Shared Service Centre environment;
  • Good knowledge of P2P processes acquired in an international company;
  • Experience processing in Oracle.
