The Cannabis QA/QC Technician will be responsible for conducting quality control and quality assurance checks throughout the cannabis cultivation and manufacturing process.

The QA/QC Technician will work closely with the cultivation and manufacturing teams to ensure that all products meet established quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all quality control and quality assurance checks and results, under Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Work closely with cultivation and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality standards.
Batch documentation review for approval by the Responsible Person
Handling and management of corrective and preventive actions in the scope of GACP, GMP, GDP and QMS
Process monitoring and preparing Quality Control Reports and Product Quality Reviews (PQR)
Facilitate Continual Improvement of the Pharmaceutical Quality System
Risk Analysis, Quality complaints
IPC analysis and reports
Stay uptodate with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cannabis quality control and assurance

The successful applicant:

Bachelor's degree or master' in Biology, Chemistry or similar disciplines. Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a plus
2+ years of experience in quality assurance and quality control. In the cannabis industry is an asset
Knowledge of cannabis cultivation and manufacturing processes and regulations is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
Fluent in English
