As a Staff Cyber Security Analyst for SOC, you will be responsible for advanced incident response for cybersecurity incidents across Infineon's global networks.


You will integrate and work with tactical cyber threat intelligence to enhance incident response and ensure adequate documentation of cybersecurity incidents.


In your new role you will:


  • Perform cybersecurity incident detection through proactive 'threat hunting' and data analysis of cybersecurity-relevant data sets;

Perform Incident investigation using
SIEM, EDR, Log Management and big data technology based on data such as event graphs, annotations, cases and reports;
-
Operate, maintain and enhance tools for forensic analysis and malware analysis;

  • Provide
    host and network forensics ,
    malware analysis during security incident response;
-
Manage projects of global scale in the area of incident response, digital forensics and malware analysis;
-
Join projects of other functional areas to provide support and expertise;

  • Closely work with Senior Experts of other functional areas in the team to support overall department goals.
You are highly motivated with a hands-on approach to work and have excellent problem-solving skills.

You have a proactive and enthusiastic attitude and are able to establish a successful collaboration with people across different levels and functions of the organization.

Moreover, you have excellent communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge and providing guidance to others.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:


  • Certification in one of the following or similar would be an advantage: GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified, Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) or other GIAC Certifications;

At least 1 or more years of experience in the direct line of SOC/CDC/CERT work (e.g., security monitoring and detection, incident response, network event analysis, threat analysis, threat intelligence or malware analysis);

Knowledge of cybersecurity incident response - direct experience in the fields of digital forensics, malware analysis, threat hunting;
-
Knowledge about fundamental concepts of networking and operating systems and ability for continuous improvement;
-
Knowledge of (cyber) security incident lifecycle/processes and hands-on experience with typical
active or passive security solutions , such as
EDR, SOAR, SIEM, IDS/IPS ;

Programming and scripting skills for the automation of incident response, e.g. in
python , is a plus;

  • Experience in technical writing and communication of technical details to various audience groups;

Fluency in English.
