Claire Joster is currently recruiting for a Portuguese company of power generating, Oil&Gas and material handling sectors, which intends to strengthen its internal structure with the integration of a Mechanical Engineer (m/f) in Lisbon.

Function

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Technical support on the preparation of proposals with a focus on rotating and static equipment scope of work;
• Perform engineering activities from conceptual, FEED, and detail design;
• Develop materials lists, data sheets, specifications, and design reports;
• Develop and review inquiries, evaluate quotations, and prepare technical tabulations and recommendations;
• Monitoring equipment and material purchases;
• Provides technical assistance on workshop and site, during fabrication, erection, commissioning, and start-up as required.

Requirements

• Higher Education in Mechanical Engineer;
• Professional Experience in Power, Heavy Industrial, Oil&Gas or process facilities;
• Knowledge and experience in Compressors, turbines and/or pump types of equipment;
• Knowledge of construction projects;
• Good skills in English and/or other foreign languages;
• Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills;
• Candidate should be available for regular traveling and spend some periods abroad as required
