Job Description:

We are looking for a Database Administrator (local contract) to work within our business end user environment.

Main tasks and responsabilities:

Creation and maintenance of databases in operational condition (production and nonproduction)
Develop and establish common practices & standards for increasing the resilience, consistency, quality and security of the databases
Ensures the integrity of existing databases by guaranteeing physical security (backup and restore procedures, logging, startup after incidents) and logical security (confidentiality, access)
Optimization of SGDB engines and SQL code
Effectively manage and solve production incidents or requests
Participate in business projects on the design and implementation of databases (DBMS, volumetry, high availability)
Works closely and continuously with the Design, Infrastructure and Security teams
Contributes to infrastructure development projects Databases under the responsibility of the infrastructure teams
Implements and ensures the correct monitoring of the databases
Work closely with developers to assist them in adopting and improving their use of existing tools and practices such as alerting, obsolescence, vulnerabilities
Participate in an oncall rotation alongside the engineers who build our products

Qualifications:

Main Technical Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience with databases administration (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle and/or others)
Solid experience in debugging and troubleshooting
Experience with common databases administration tools (database management CLI's/GUI's, HA services and data protection)

Other Requirements:

Good level of English minimum B2 (mandatory); French is a plus
Experience in a Software, Infrastructure, Systems, and/or Site Reliability Engineering role (a plus)
DevOps mindset
Ability to keep up with a demanding and fastpaced environment
Willingness to learn and evolve
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team

work from home, taking advantage to finally do that
online course on Udemy. Once you are done with your tasks for the day, you can visit the office for a
board games session or show up at the rehearsal of one of
Natixis bands. If that is too steady for you, meet your colleagues to
surf some waves or join them in a
football match.
