Associate Job Description & Summary In CMAAS, we support companies through moments of exceptional financial change, by providing them with independent and objective advice on transaction accounting, accounting change and accounting and reporting problem solving.

We offer tailored advice to a broad range of businesses; from smaller entrepreneurial companies, to larger national or multinational companies.

No two projects are ever the same for us - they include listings, large M&A transactions, how to structure a transaction, GAAP conversions and complex accounting issues.

Profile We are looking for candidates who are excited about digitizing the Finance and Sustainability functions of our clients, while showing interest in sustainability reporting topics (EFRAG - ESRS, ISSB - IFRS S, etc.), financial (IFRS) and exhibit high problem solving skills;
Technology-driven curiosity and ability to solve technological problems
Knowledge about data analytics and ability to deal with complex data
ESG conscious and willing to work on ESG related projects
Oral and written domain of the English language;
High sense of responsibility and commitment;
Critical and analytical thinking;
Ability to work in a team;
Both experienced (1-3 years Big 4 experience).

Responsibilities You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive experience, helping our clients solve their complex topics (from strategy to execution) for corporate, insurance and financial institutions.

These could include, for example, supporting in financial and non financial reporting through digital tools, managing and organizing data in a meaningful way in order to make decisions, developing tools to support our clients in assessing and accounting for complex financial and non-financial transactions or implementation of new accounting standards.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist clients in the implementation of platforms to enhance and streamline the financial and non-financial reporting;
Make sense of large amounts of data and files and organize them in a meaningful way;
Work with multidisciplinary teams on projects to deliver high quality client service;
Support the team in developing practical solutions to accounting and regulatory challenges by utilising research tools;
Support in interpretation and implementation of sustainability reporting standards (e.g. EFRAG, ISSB, EU Green Taxonomy, etc.).
