About the job:
We are looking for an Automation QA to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure our product meets the desired quality standards.
What you'll do:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Slice initiatives/projects/epics in User Stories to ensure early and constant value delivery to the stakeholders and customers;
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Stay uptodate with new testing tools and test strategies
- Manage defects, ensuring they are correctly identified, reported, categorized and retested always with a collaborative mindset with the Development teams;
- Work with all members of the Development teams to ensure timely delivery of functionalities that meet the defined acceptance criteria.
About you:
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent demonstrable knowledge)
- Professional experience is valued;
- Experience managing backlogs;
- Experience working in an Agile environment;
- Proven work experience in software development (Java/Kotlin/NodeJs handson experience will be valued);
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance;
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Handson experience with both white box and black box testing;
- Handson experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and scripting languages (e.g. Python) will be valued;
- Proactiveness and great organization, time management, analytical and negotiation skills;
- Experience working with REST APIs is valued or willing to master it quickly;
- Ability to follow issues in order to get them solved;
- Ethical behaviour, transparency and ability to establish trustbased long term relationships;
- Creativity and outofthebox mindset;
- Self motivated and capable of inspiring teams and individuals;
- Relentless willing to learn;
- Proactive with good organization skills;
- Be kind and ego free;
- Agile mindset;
- Great written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English, Spanish will be valued);
- To be based in LOQR's headquarters (Felgueiras) or Lisbon office, with a flexible remote work policy.
