Position Overview:


As the T&E Processor you will report directly to the Global T&E Supervisor and work closely with the larger Finance & accounting organization in our Global Shared Services center in Mindelo.

The position is accountable for reviewing and auditing expense reports to ensure compliance with H.B.

Fuller policies and overseeing that the expense report submission process is being conducted in accordance to the defined due dates and escalation process.

In addition, you will work on special projects related to various facets of HBF ́s travel management program. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to success in this internship.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support all areas of Travel Management and T&E processes
  • Review and audit expense reports to ensure compliance with global T&E policies and flag/escalate potential issues
  • Comply with Internal Controls and SOX requirements and perform operational controls according to T&E control activities
  • Assist in monthend closing and reporting tasks
  • Administer access and maintain master data for Concur, Egencia, and Visa tools
  • Communicate with internal customers to resolve disputes or differences, and review exceptions
  • Provide ongoing support in educating employees on T&E topics such as Concur, T&E corporate credit Cards, etc. and communicate any changes to the environment
  • Validate that Corporate credit card expense report submission process is being conducted in accordance to the defined due dates and flag / address any deviations.
  • Manage T&E mailboxes, ensuring agile communication and problem resolution with internal customers
  • Ensure that masterdata in various travel systems are updated to reflect changes and communicate to users across the Company when necessary
  • Routinely and accurately perform backup responsibilities to ensure operational processes continue to run smoothly during vacation periods
  • Document existing processes and procedures to support business continuity objectives.
  • Assist in other special projects and analysis as assigned

  • Vendors, Concur helpdesk, External Auditors, banks, Corporate Credit Card provider, travel agency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Business Administration, Accounting or Finance related Degree
  • At least 1year experience in a T&E role using Concur, SAP and other travel related tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, internal and external customers
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with logical and pragmatic problemsolving approach
  • Ability to work with a team, take general directions from manager, focus attention to details, follow work needs, and adhere to established work schedules.
  • Ability to focus on achieving defined results, being detail oriented, and exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Ability to multitask, switch priorities, collaborate with colleagues and be flexible.
  • English fluency
  • German or French or Spanish speaking is a plus
