About the job

  • The KYC Officer is one of the process stakeholders who intervenes in the client life cycle as part of the KYC Due Diligence
  • Acting as a key stakeholder in the KYC data governance, the KYC Officer is responsible for collecting the accessible information and documents required to identify and verify the identity of the clients, its UBO's and other related persons, in compliance with internal policies and guidelines

Your Main Activities Are

Collection of information and documents:

  • Identify the documents and information required to complete or update the client KYC file according to the requested list of documents and covering multisite requirement, if applicable
  • Use all available and validated sources to collect documentation and information required without client or Relationship Manager involvement
  • Liaise with the E2E coordinator (when applicable) to gather remaining KYC documentation and information from the client and internal Relationship Manager or, under delegation, directly gather from the client or Relationship Manager
  • Support E2E Coordinator (when applicable) and Relationship Manager in understanding the rational of KYC document collection
  • Translate documentation in English where possible to provide any key information required for the KYC file risk assessment
  • Highlight main information in the KYC documents
  • Monitor the collection process and escalate if necessary

Control and analysis of documents:

  • Ensure and validate that collected documents are consistent, valid and adequate with internal procedures and guidelines
  • Extract from the documentation all requested information according to KYC policies

Documents upload and data capture:

  • Adequately upload and classify KYC documentation upon reception
  • Capture all requested KYC information in KYC systems

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Law, Finance or other related fields
  • Expertise with AML and KYC regulatory requirements
  • General legal and financial knowledge (preferably)
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Excellent communication skills, with a clientfocused attitude
  • Strong analytical skills, with a qualityoriented mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
