Our
Centre of Expertise is looking for a
Hybrid and Solar Coordinator who will coordinate the Hybrid and Solar activities in the COE, having the following responsibilities:

Work on hybrid solution mixing solar, wind, thermal, hydro, storageand solar plants (engineering for conception, works supervision and support to O&M). Can also work for all other activities covered by the COE (hydropower, storage, hydrogen, biomass, wind) if needed;
Provide support to Development Project Managers/ Construction Project Managers/ O&M Teams and the main objectives will be:
Coordinate the activity and manage the team (define budget, planning, allocate the resources, control time spent and quality of deliverables, train the team ), communicate with internal clients, understand their needs and reporting;
Ensure that the team works globally, in all geography dedicated and in close relation with the rest of the COE;
As an expert, will be responsible for design and calculation of hybrid and solar structure (production mix selection (solar, wind, thermal, hydro, storage...), equipment's numbers and size, equipment specification, yield calculation, optimize sizing using (or programming) optimization software, foundation, access road, grid connection );
Determination of CAPEX, OPEX, resource and production;
Contract and manage external engineering, if any;
Follow technologies R&D and new products, being in contact with suppliers in the hybrid & solar sector.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Engineering (general, electrical, mechanical, civil, hydraulics);
More than 10 years of experience in renewable engineering specialized in hybrid and/or solar;
Experience from feasibility studies to work supervision and O&M support;
Expertise in solar and/or hybrid system/ thermal energies, energy storage/ optimization process/ hybridization, grid management;
English proficiency; Portuguese and French are considered a plus.
