As a Data Product Owner you will sit within our revolutionary Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics (ED&AA) unit at Siemens Energy, where we work together on challenging projects that widely impact all areas of the energy industry.

In this fast-paced environment, you will work as part of a team to aid the creation and activation of the roadmap that will lead to Siemens Energy's vision of becoming an insight-driven organisation in the future.

Our team is looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile product owner that will drive ED&AA forward on this exciting venture.

How You'll Make An Impact

Partner with business functions to assist in understanding client, product and business requirements and articulating needs through the data lifecycle.
Work with people across all groups in Siemens Energy to improve the quality of our data and how this data can be used effectively.
Extract value and insight from Siemens Energy data.
Build relationships with stakeholders to promote, develop and manage data planning and analysis deliverables.
Data discovery and analysis projects to develop insights to inform strategy and drive targeting.
Become a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on all things data and make it easy for them to make business decisions (based on data insight).
Collaborate with data scientists, you will be handson in the exploration of new data sources, assessing suitability and refining the architecture and data strategy to incorporate them.
Deep dive handson exploratory data discovery and exploration for selected stakeholders focusing on high priority data sets.
Synthesise key insights, highlighting gaps, identifying pain points, understanding opportunity for value.
Identify what tools would be the best fit for specific databased problems and outlining high level architectures.

What You'll Bring

Advanced Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a quantitative field.
Experience in the field of Data, Datadriven and can navigate large datasets and extract actionable insights.
Knowledge of databases and ability to use SQL to query data.
Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
Good to have: Experience in an industryrelated environment (e.g. energy sector).
