We are looking for an

RDI DEPUTY MANAGER for Emmerich in Germany.

Responsabilities of the role

-Product Development

Formulation definition, based on Raw Materials availability and regulatory compliance;
Briefing reception and analysis;
Conducting technical follow ups with Clients;
Elaboration and testing of samples and formulas and samples follow up;
Raw material sample request and further verification on compliance with existing regulation and internal standards (GMOs, allergens, Kosher status, etc);
Testing and evaluation new Raw Material in collaboration with the Ingredient specialist;
Formula cost optimization, either following specific client requests or aiming at internal gains;

-Industrial Trials follow up

-Customer Management

Monitoring of customer visits / audits to Frulact; promote / guarantee in conjunction with Marketing and Sales the realization of proactive presentations to customers;
Oversee the daytoday activities of the research and development team;

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Food Technology or equivalent training.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience related field.
Preferred experience R&D ingredients.
Must be detail oriented, thorough, wellorganized and be able to effectively manage time.
Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills.
Proactive, resilient, hand on, dynamic and passionate personality.
Ability to work in a highpaced environment with ability to prioritize tasks, requires strong organizational skills.
Proactive and goaloriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
Fluent German and English imperative.
