    Job Description :
    To ensure the activities aimed to the compliance with site HSE prescriptions, operating in coordination with Project HSE Manager.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Resource will be responsible for:

    • verify that the HSE Management System is applied in the correct way on all activities of the project;
    • identify and issue specific HSE procedures and instructions, overseeing the development of HSE project plans and ensuring the integration of the Company applicable procedures;
    • issue a site HSE training matrix and develop induction and site HSE training program;
    • plan and perform HSE inspections to verify that all project parties fully comply with all HSE measures as described in the Project HSE Plan and procedures;
    • verifies that effective discipline Supervision is exerted.
    • evaluates the correct application and enforcement of project HSE procedures, checks the achieving of project goals and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in compliance with project HSE goals;
    • hold weekly and monthly meetings on Health, Safety, Environment topics with project HSE department staff and Project Management and keeps relevant MoM;
    • keeps regular contacts with the Project Construction / Supervision Dept. so that safe operating conditions can be ensured;
    • inspects and observe job situations to check for possible risks and gives the necessary guidance and advice to eliminate them;
    • performs incidents investigations to identify root causes and prevents recurrence;
    • organizes emergency response team, emergency drills and implements emergency response plan;
    • fills in the monthly HSE report and weekly incident statistics;
    • reinforces safe behaviours and correct unsafe behaviours.
    • Makes sure Life Saving Rules are abode and implemented.

    Work Experience and education requirements:

    • The Resource should preferably have internationally recognised qualification in HSE Management (BSC, NEBOSH or equivalent) or a Master in HSE and have an engineering background.
    • The job holder should preferably have at least 3 years' experience in the HSE administration business

    Soft Skills and Competencies:

    • Business English Language (B2 Level or equivalent)
    • Familiarity with business computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    • Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
    • Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to create a friendly working environment
