We are looking for a
Data Business Analyst to strengthen the advisory services for one of our key clients. The client is a market leading Financial Services organization operating worldwide.

As a Business Analyst, you will be advising our clients on the design of Data Management solution.

Combining your business knowledge and technical skills you will also support our client to document the current state, define the target state solution.

You will be responsible for helping the client create and manage a product backlog.

You will be required to participate in sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog grooming sessions.

Main responsibilities:

Facilitate workshops with Business SMEs, Data Owners, Business Owners to understand current state data challenges and define target state data management solutionse
Gather and document the business requirements for data management initiatives
Define current state and define target state solutions
Drive requirements gathering process, ensuring alignment with delivery of business value and solution architecture
Translate business requirements into clear functional and nonfunctional requirements
Create and manage the product backlog
Prioritization and planning of requirements
Create data mastering solutions
Define the conceptual and logical data models
Work with the technical team to define the physical data model

Must-have:

At least
5 years of relevant experience within the Data, BI/Analytics and Data Warehousing (ETL Tools & concepts), with your most recent experience around ETL, Data Management, Data Quality (DQ) or Data Governance (DG)
An indepth knowledge of data management/data governance concepts, approaches, methodologies and tools. Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK is considered as an asset (a CDMP certification is a plus).
Practical experience of implementing a Data Management platform, Data Lake/Warehouse or a Data Governance solution implementation and management
Stakeholder Management on high paced business

Project Management

Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, PMI methodologies.
Experience with SQL and Python

Ideally you should be Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal:

Availability to travel to
London twice
per month.

Desired Skills:

Detailed analytical approach; logical, precise thinker; clear and concise communications
Experience working with a range of Data Management and ETL tools
Experience building and socializing new data governance TOM
Data Quality and Metadata Management
Prior experience building and maintaining data management platform, Data Lake/Data Warehouse
Strong time management skills: efficient at multitasking and able to work under pressure
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Autonomous and able to work independently
