Convatec operates a two-stream BI solution separating consolidated P&L analytics in Hyperion from transactional ERP BI in an Enterprise Data Warehouse.

You will join a cross-functional, IT / Finance team, tasked with building user adoption and developing the EDW to keep pace with user demand.

The role requires a blend of familiarity with Financial performance management reporting and hands-on experience using industry standard BI technology.

Since SAP is our primary ERP environment prior SAP General Ledger and CO-PA experience is necessary.

You will join a small team and will be granted a high degree of autonomy.

It will require an individual who can rapidly establish credibility and trust with Finance Operations teams across the global group.

They must also be able, and prepared, to identify opportunities, then formulate and deliver to an implementation plan with mínimal oversight.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting

Experience analysing and reporting on transactional P&L and working capital data
Experience supporting a global Finance user base with 'super user' level BI tool skills
Managing (varying) requests to arrive at common 'standard' reporting formats, across the global user base
Familiar with budgeting/forecasting/planning/reporting cycles & associated planning requirements

Systems

Dashboarding in Power BI or similar (Qlik, Tableau, Cognos)
Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet analysis in Hyperion or similar (TM1, Anaplan, Board, OneStream, Tagetik)
SAP with experience reporting from the General Ledger and CO-PA. Core data sets include Sales by Customer, Sales Orders, Accounts Receivable, Opex, Capex, Direct Expenditure, Accounts Payable, Inventory

About You

Technical competence with reporting systems suited to operating as a superuser in support of the global Finance function
Communication strong interpersonal skills. Requires the ability to interact with a diverse user base providing technical guidance, support and training as well as being an advocate for their needs
Influencing able to 'sell' new systems to stakeholders (at varying levels of seniority) and encourage others to work towards mutually beneficial outcomes
Comfortable with ambiguity/dynamic nature of working in a complex project environment (shifting deadlines/priorities/etc)
Able to balance need for understanding of detail, whilst maintaining visibility of 'big picture' & overall strategy/objectives
Diplomacy comfortable asking questions/challenging perceived wisdom, tactfully, to clarify requirements &/or deliver better outcomes
Languages: English (fluent), other is an advantage
