    Senior Project Engineer | Major Capital Projects | Portugal ENG Bauen partners with leading owner/operator organizations and engineering companies worldwide, specializing in talent management consultancy.

    Our focus lies in deploying project management and technical engineering resources to plant engineering and global project groups. Currently, we are developing comprehensive global project talent strategies to support major/mega projects.
    We're on the lookout for Project Engineers eager to contribute to our Global Project Delivery Function.

    In this role, you'll serve as the technical liaison with clients, guiding projects from conceptual design, pre-FEED, and FEED stages through to execution across various CAPEX projects.

    Ideal candidates will possess a robust engineering background and hands-on experience in delivering capital projects within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.

    You'll collaborate closely with senior management within the project execution function, offering an exceptional opportunity to engage in capital projects on a global scale.

    This opportunity is being offered on a long-term freelance contract in Portugal.

    While we do offer a hybrid working model, the Project Engineer must be present on-site, especially during critical project phases.

    This ensures effective oversight and seamless coordination when it matters most.

    The Ideal Candidate should have:


    Experience in the Oil, Gas, or Chemical sectorPrevious experience on small to medium CAPEX projectsHigh standard of communication to interface with clientsHigh level of Fluency in EnglishFlexibility to travel when required.
