A Snapshot of Your Day


You'll support and guide our Steam Turbines and Generator team every day to ensure all Quality, Environment and Health and Safety are met and hopefully surpassed.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Ensure the fulfilment of the international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), of organization's regulations and processes, as well as of the applicable local legislation
  • Ensure activities inherent to the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management (QM) System and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System
  • Collaborate with management teams, support functions and relevant stakeholders to achieve the objectives of our QM and EHS policies;
  • Contribute to internal and external Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety audits
  • Ensure a set of activities inherent to operational QM and EHS, like Nonconformities/complaints management, etc

Specifically:

  • Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS):
  • Contribute to global QEHS programs and initiatives. Monitor and assess their effectiveness, ensuring alignment with strategic goals;
  • Implement QEHS guidelines and procedures and ensure its deployment;
  • Advise project management and execution team on QEHS requirements and
- specifications (tender and project phase);

  • Accountable for reporting event statistics and analysing the data to identify
- trends;

  • Facilitate and advise root cause analysis, working closely with project
- management and operational teams. Oversee the implementation of preventive measures to mitigate future risks;

  • Ensure accurate and timely QEHSrelated reporting and communication to internal and external stakeholders, authorities, and management teams.
  • Elaborate Quality Plans for tenders and projects;
  • Manage and monitor the projects' quality, including suppliers;
  • Monitor and control project's ITPs, assess Project Manager in FAT and SAT;
  • Monitor and perform projects' and suppliers' audits;
  • Calibration managementEnvironment, Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Ensure compliance with EHS legal, as well as contractual requirements:
  • Elaborate and monitor documents according to project complexity (EHS Plan, Waste Management Plan; Chemicals Management Plan and Emergency Plan);
  • Implement EHSrelated risk management in processes and projects,
contributing to the overall safety and sustainability of our operations;

  • Ensure all EHS incidents (injuries, illhealth, nearmisses and concerns) are
recorded and investigated in accordance with the company procedures.


What You Bring

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
  • Experience: at least 2 years in Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety functions;
  • Knowledge:
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; ISO Quality Plans) and ISO Audits)
  • Environmental, Health and Safety legislation
  • Preferencial Trainings: Quality Management, ISO Management, Auditor
  • Preferencial Qualifications: Certified as Health and Safety Technician at Work
  • CAP;
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and a selforganised way of working in an intercultural environment.
