    About the role

    As a Clinical Medical Manager focused on Patient Journey Digitalization and Real-World Evidence, you'll play a vital role in transforming how healthcare is provided in Portugal. Your medical expertise and understanding of clinical operations and data analysis will power the design and implementation of innovative digital solutions. These solutions will capture comprehensive patient experiences, generating insights to improve patient care. This role is based in Porto, Portugal. If this makes sense, keep reading As a Clinical Medical Manager, you will:

    • Develop and implement digital methods to comprehensively map patient journeys and their interactions with healthcare providers across diverse settings. This will involve designing and deploying tools such as web apps, integrated health records, mobile apps, and wearables;
    • Extract and analyze real-world data from diverse sources, particularly web apps, integrated health records, mobile apps, and wearables. Drive the development of strategies to collect, clean, and transform this data to gain actionable insights into patient experiences and outcomes;
    • Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare providers, and relevant technology partners. Engage in collaborative discussions highlighting the potential of digital patient journey mapping and real-world evidence to improve healthcare decision-making;
    • Assess and recommend cutting-edge digital health technologies for patient journey mapping and RWD generation. Lead the adoption and implementation of these technologies within healthcare institutions;
    • Work closely with data scientists, clinical researchers, Tech Teams, and clinical teams at hospitals and clinics. This collaborative effort will optimize the digitalization of patient journeys and ensure the strategic use of RWE to improve healthcare delivery.

    About you

    To be considered for this role, here are the skills we're looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Medicine. Specialization in oncology, pharmacology, or pharmaceutical medicine is preferred;
    • Fluent proficiency in both oral and written English;
    • Background in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research settings, with a focus on human healthcare research;
    • Some understanding of the local healthcare infrastructure and pharmaceutical drug development processes;
    • Experience in data analysis for scientific purposes;
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinicians, researchers, data scientists, technology partners, and healthcare administrators.
