    Automation & Control System Engineer - Trainee M/F M/F

    • Software development based on existent project requirements, backlog and roadmap;

    • Design and evaluate systems architectures for network equipment and communication field network;

    • Create Technical Requirements and Functional Description documents along with diagrams and supporting drawings;

    • Study and analyze requirements for monitoring and control systems, security systems and other possible automation systems;

    • Perform technical analysis and comparison of system solution and specific equipment, including detailed classification;

    • Create supporting documentation like user manual, operation and maintenance manual, programming manual;

    • On-site and remote technical support – tests and commissioning of the designed systems.

    REQUIREMENTS


    • Degree or master's degree in Electrical or Computer or Automation Engineering;

    • Basic programming skills (Python, Nodejs, SQL, ...);

    • Basic programming skills for user interface (HTML, Javascript, CSS);

    • Software development architecture and modeling;

    • Basic software documentation skills;

    • Basic software testing knowledge (is a plus);

    • Project documentation using LaTeX (is a plus);

    • Basic knowledge in communication interface and protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, REST API, ...);

    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software (is a plus);

    • Written and spoken English proficiency;

    • This position could be located in Porto or Oliveira dos Frades, Portugal

    • Availability for national and international travels.
