The Work You'll Do:
- _More specifically you will:_

  • Provide domain expertise around the Sovos suite of products, focused on our largest and most complex customers and prospects that require the highest level of service
  • Assist in the client discovery process to help uncover unforeseen challenges and ensure the proper offering is being proposed
  • Develop a firm understanding of customer needs, pain points, and requirements around the needs and problems and align Sovos solutions to fulfil the needs and requirements to solve the problem and become and stay compliant
  • Work closely with Strategic Account Directors to conduct solutions discovery and presentation of our technology platform
  • Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses for prospective new clients
  • Work closely with the onboarding team ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to onboarding for new clients
  • Maintain and continually improve demonstration capabilities, conducting internal Sales department training, demo system props and proposal content

What We Need From You:

  • Progressive experience in solution or sales engineering of technology platforms or suites
  • Presenting and selling to Executive level prospects and clients; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Specific tax, technology and global regulatory knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic rapidly changing environment
  • Strong project management skills including follow through and ability to see projects to completion without significant oversight required
  • Ability to take a concept, internalise it, rally others around, drive its implementation, and identify ways to continuously improve it
