- Design, code, unit-test and document the software for the C# test frameworkDesign and implement Behavior-Driven Development based tests using Gherkin, CucumberRefine user stories and decide what tests to automate and howDocument the requirements and design of the tests and the test frameworkImplement User story tests, Performance and Load testsDecompose the design into user stories and tasks and estimate using planning pokerEnsure smooth operation of testing like daily testing, exploratory testing and release testingPlan the order of development in Sprints, focusing on achieving continuous integrationOperate according to Agile/scrum principlesKeep abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contactsStrong drive for continuous improvementSubmitting defects of failing testsExecute manual testing to support the system testers while performing release testing
- You have a university education in computer or software science at Bachelor level or higher You have at least 5 years of experience in C# You have at least 5 years of experience in Blackbox, GUI testing, Gherkin, BDD, Cucumber You have at least 5 years of experience in software testing (happy flows, boundary testing, coverage) You have fluent English language skills (verbal and written) You are able and willing to work at least 2 days per week at the Ovar office You are willing to work in Eindhoven/Netherlands 1-2 weeks per time several times per year You have an understanding of the SOLID-principles and how to apply them in software designYou have experience in Python programming languageYou have specific knowledge of relevant design & modeling methods like UML, OOADYou have experience with CM tools like SVN and GITYou have a proactive and eager mindset to get the job done, helping othersYou are able to Being able to decompose complex task and estimate workYou can look, realistically, outside the boxYou have a helicopter view, capable of finding an appropriate solution to complex problemsYou prepare for the future, making sure the test set and infrastructure doesn't grow out of controlYou have a broad interest in Software Testing AutomationExperience with wired communication protocols, TCP/IP, Ethernet is a plusExperience in Safety critical systems is a plusExperience with Specflow is a plusExperience with .NET is a plusExperience with SCons is a plusExperience with soldering is a plus
