We are a modern brunch restaurant in Porto (Portugal) offering fresh, trendy and creative dishes.

We're looking for a dynamic and passionate cook to join our team and prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and participate in the development and execution of our modern and creative menu.

Position summary

Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the Chef
Answer, report and follow chef's instructions
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Unpacks and stores provisions in the refrigerators and other storage areas
Stores the products and preparations according to the conservation period
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Who are we looking for?

1+ years of cooking experience, including experience as a souschef, line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry's best practices
Culinary school diploma is a plus
Prior work in Pastry is an asset
Proficient in English

Salary:
From 1.00€ per month
